Welcome to DATOL (DAT on-line)

This site provides a comprehensive set of training materials for nuclear medicine professionals, intended primarily to support national training programmes. The materials were originally designed to provide a training course for Nuclear Medicine Technologists, to assist in their understanding of the underlying theory of Nuclear Medicine practice and to develop skills that enable them to perform high quality nuclear medicine studies. In addition, however, the materials are proving useful as a source of practical information for other professionals who may be new to nuclear medicine or who seek a structured set of training resources to aid their continuing professional development. The materials have been developed with support of the IAEA, Vienna, under a project of the Regional Cooperative Agreement (RCA).
